This high-capacity oil pump is a must-have for engine tuning. By increasing oil discharge, it prevents a loss of cooling function due to engine tuning such as bore-up and a drop in oil pressure due to the installation of an oil cooler, maximizing the performance of your tuned engine.
Two types are available to suit different tuning levels. Generally, use the Super Oil Pump for bore-up kits under 100cc and the Ultra Oil Pump for bore-up kits over 100cc. However, use the Ultra Oil Pump for vehicles equipped with a high-performance cylinder head and oil cooler.
Be sure to check the increase in oil pressure after installing the oil pump kit.
Installation requires enlarging the orifice (Super Oil Pump φ1.5, Ultra Oil Pump φ2.0).
Installation requires a separate crankcase gasket (966-1015004) and a clutch outer cover gasket tailored to your vehicle's specifications.
