The oil cooler body is mounted under the cylinder head using a dedicated mounting bracket attached to the tappet cover of the stock cylinder head.
 
■ Oil outlet
A special oil filter cover is attached to the oil filter part of the genuine clutch cover to remove the oil.
The oil filter cover is equipped with a relief valve mechanism inside. It
also has a neodymium magnet inside that attracts iron powder mixed in the engine oil, reducing dirt on the oil filter.
 
■ About the Compact Cool unit
The cooler body uses Compact Cool, which has excellent cooling effect.
By installing an oil cooler, you can suppress the rise in oil temperature that occurs when the engine bore is increased. An oil cooler plate and guard are included as standard.
 
■ Notes
*For use with stock cylinder heads and stock clutch covers only.
*Do not use on rough roads or off-road.
*Add approximately 60cc of oil (4 fins) or 40cc (3 fins) to the standard oil amount.
*Cannot be installed on the Monkey 125 (JB03/JB05) with a stock muffler or SP Takegawa sports muffler.
*For the Super Cub C125 (JA58/JA71)/Super Cub 110 (JA59), this is for vehicles equipped with an SP Takegawa muffler.
*Cannot be installed on the Monkey 125 (JB03/JB05) or Super Cub C125 (JA58/JA71) with an SP Takegawa engine guard.
*For the GROM, this cannot be installed with the Honda genuine accessory part: undercowl (08F75-K26-M50ZA).
